Commitment to ethical manufacturing, social responsibility, and transparency
At Ningbo Yinzhou Tuoda Plastic, we believe that how we make products matters just as much as the products themselves. As a trusted injection molding partner for global brands since 2008, we are committed to operating with integrity, respecting human rights, protecting the environment, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
This Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the principles we follow in our daily operations. It also applies to all our subcontractors and partners. We expect everyone in our supply chain to share these commitments.
1. Legal Compliance and Prevention of Corruption
We conduct all business in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
-
Anti‑corruption: We have a zero‑tolerance policy for bribery, kickbacks, or any form of corruption. No employee or agent may offer, promise, or accept any undue advantage to obtain or retain business.
-
Fair competition: We compete fairly and ethically. We do not engage in price‑fixing, bid‑rigging, or any other anti‑competitive practices.
-
Accurate records: All financial transactions are recorded honestly and transparently. We maintain proper books and accounts in accordance with Chinese and international standards.
-
Export control & customs: We comply with all applicable export control, trade sanction, and customs regulations.
2. Human Rights
We respect and uphold internationally recognized human rights throughout our operations.
-
No forced or compulsory labor: We do not use any form of forced, bonded, or involuntary prison labor. All work is voluntary.
-
No child labor: We strictly prohibit the employment of anyone below the legal minimum working age (16 years in China). For any country‑specific requirements, we follow the stricter standard.
-
Non‑discrimination: Employment decisions are based on skills, qualifications, and performance — not on race, color, gender, religion, age, disability, marital status, or any other protected characteristic.
-
Freedom of association: We respect the right of employees to form or join trade unions and to engage in collective bargaining, in accordance with local laws.
-
Fair treatment: We treat all employees with dignity and respect. Harassment, abuse, or any form of inhumane treatment is strictly forbidden.
3. Safe and Healthy Working Environment
We believe that every employee has the right to a safe and healthy workplace.
-

-
Personal protective equipment (PPE): Employees receive appropriate PPE (gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, etc.) and are trained in its use.
-
Machine safety: Our injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment are equipped with safety guards, emergency stops, and lockout/tagout procedures.
-
Chemical safety: All raw materials, cleaning agents, and lubricants are stored, labeled, and handled according to safety data sheets (SDS).

Regular training: We conduct regular safety training and emergency drills. Employees are encouraged to report unsafe conditions without fear of retaliation.
-
Hygiene & welfare: Clean drinking water, sanitary restrooms, and first‑aid kits are available throughout our facility.
4. Environmental Awareness and Precautions
We are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainable manufacturing.
-
Compliance with environmental laws: We comply with all applicable environmental regulations, including waste disposal, air emissions, and water discharge standards.
-
Waste reduction: We sort and recycle production waste (plastic scrap, paper, metal). Non‑recyclable waste is disposed of through licensed vendors.
-
Energy efficiency: We optimize machine settings to reduce energy consumption and use energy‑efficient lighting where possible.
-
Material conservation: Our DFM process helps reduce material waste by optimizing part geometry and runner design.
-
Hazardous materials: Any hazardous substances are stored, handled, and disposed of in accordance with regulations. We maintain spill containment and emergency response procedures.
-
Eco‑friendly alternatives: We actively support clients who wish to use sustainable materials such as recycled PP (RPP), wheat straw bio‑plastic, PLA, and other bio‑based or biodegradable resins.
5. Quality Assurance
Quality is not an afterthought — it is built into every step of our process.
-
Customer specifications: We manufacture parts to meet or exceed the dimensional and performance requirements specified by our clients.
-
Process control: Our injection molding processes are monitored and controlled to ensure consistency. We use in‑process inspections and statistical sampling (AQL) to detect deviations early.
-
Traceability: Each production batch is labeled with a unique lot number, allowing us to trace materials, machine settings, and inspection records.
-
Continuous improvement: We regularly review our quality metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
-
Certifications: We maintain certifications relevant to our industry (ISO 9001 for quality management, food‑grade compliance, etc.). Upon request, we provide material certificates, test reports, and first article inspection (FAI) reports.
-
Corrective actions: If a non‑conformance occurs, we conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Whistle‑Blower Protection
We encourage employees and business partners to report any suspected violations of this Code without fear of retaliation.
-
Reporting channels: Employees may report concerns to their direct supervisor, the HR department, or our management team. External partners may contact us directly at contact@tuodaplastic.com.
-
Anonymity: We accept anonymous reports, provided sufficient detail is given to allow investigation.
-
No retaliation: We strictly prohibit any form of retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith. Violations of this prohibition will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
-
Investigation: All reported concerns will be promptly and fairly investigated. We maintain confidentiality to the extent possible while conducting a thorough review.
7. Data Privacy
We respect the privacy of our clients, employees, and business partners.
-
Client information: All design files, specifications, pricing, and other confidential information provided by clients are protected. We do not share client data with third parties without authorization.
-
Employee data: Personal information of employees is collected and processed in compliance with applicable privacy laws (including China’s Personal Information Protection Law).
-
Data security: We maintain physical and digital safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or theft of sensitive data.
-
Use of data: Client data is used only for the purpose of fulfilling orders, communicating about projects, and improving our services. We do not sell or trade personal or business data.
8. Subcontractors’ Compliance with This Code
We extend our ethical and operational standards to all subcontractors and suppliers in our value chain.
-
Flow‑down requirement: All subcontractors must agree in writing to comply with the principles of this Code of Conduct (or their own equivalent standards that meet or exceed these requirements).
-
Due diligence: Before engaging a new subcontractor, we conduct a basic assessment of their legal standing, safety practices, environmental compliance, and human rights record.
-
Monitoring: We reserve the right to conduct spot checks or audits of subcontractor facilities to verify compliance with this Code.
-
Remediation: If a subcontractor is found to be in violation, we require immediate corrective action. Failure to address serious violations will result in termination of the business relationship.
Our Commitment to Continuous Improvement
This Code of Conduct is a living document. We review it annually and update it as needed to reflect changes in laws, customer expectations, and industry best practices. We also provide regular training to our employees to ensure they understand and follow these principles.
We believe that ethical manufacturing is not a cost — it is an investment in long‑term partnerships and sustainable growth.
